Ananya is a visual storyteller and artist from India with over six years of experience working with publishers, art directors, writers, filmmakers, and social impact organizations to tell stories of voices that often go unheard. She has created illustrations for films, fabric, picture books, magazines, research journals, newspapers, and more. Ananya graduated with an MFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2024 and soon after moved to New York City, where she taught at Parsons School of Design while continuing to work on various illustration and storytelling projects. When she’s left to draw for herself, she often finds herself thinking in books and is currently experimenting with a series of artworks.
